Mechanical Assembler Int.

Duration: 6 months
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd

Job Overview:
Performs a variety of operations to assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies and sheet metal enclosures. Works with assembly prints, wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures and racks. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instruction on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
Minimum Qualifications:
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing hand soldering, wire harnessing and cabling on assembly units. May be required to perform repair work as necessary. Performs other duties as needed. Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May maintain logs and records denoting malfunctions
Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to work from established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing. Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment. Completion of high school degree or equivalent is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
